Connery To Reveal Memoir On His Birthday

Sir Sean Connery will mark his 78th birthday by unveiling his autobiography to the world at the Edinburgh Book Festival in his native Scotland this August . The veteran actor, a passionate nationalist, has been working on his memoir Being a Scot with his filmmaker pal Murray Grigor for the past few months. And the former James Bond star will reveal his tome at the famed literary event this summer, when he discusses the book at the festival on 25 August .

Last year, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer had suffered a heart attack and a stroke that affected his ability to speak. * * *Patti LaBelle will stay busy this summer with a handful North American tour dates and a long-awaited reunion with her R&B trio, LaBelle.
