Patrick Swayze diagnosed with cancer
'Dirty Dancing' and 'Ghost' wiz St. Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
The 55-year-old histrion is currently "responding well to treatment", according to a statement released by his publiciser.
The statement dismissed previous media reports which suggested that the star only had weeks to live.
Swayze's physician, Dr George IV Black cat, said in a affirmation: "Saint Patrick has a very express amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to intervention."
"Totally of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side personal effects ar absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic."
The statement too said that Swayze deep appreciated the "overflow of support and concern" he has received from the public.
The role player is best know for his roles as dance teacher Johnny in 'Dirty Dancing' and the dead person character SAM in 'Ghost'.
